![]() If by any chance you can get iDVD back going, write back and I can give more tips. In fact, the only real problem I've ever had with compatibility was a stuffed full DL DVD that would not play reliably on a really low end ancient Windows laptop. I've burned over 50 DVDs in 2013 alone (one at a time on my 2008 MacPro) - none came back with problems being played. Even if you have 16x speed disks and/or burner, burn at 8x or even 6x or 4x if you have the time. Whether using iDVD or not, the best advice for widest DVD player compatibility is to burn slow. ![]() ![]() I still have themes all the way back to V.1. After you have chosen your theme, you can add movies to your iDVD project. The movie youll add to this project contains. Maybe they just got accidentally dragged to another location on your drive? The file names are things like "Bands-Main.theme" and "Bands-Chapters.theme" if you want to search. Here's where they should be stored: Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes - and in that folder there is a unique folder for each version of iDVD: iDVD 7, iDVD 6, etc. IDVD still works flawlessly in Mountain Lion - sorry yours has lost the themes.
